Bright Precision Calibration Pairs for Small and Modest Telescopes

Abstract

We present a list of 214 double star pairs for which we have generated precise Position Angles and Separations based on the space-based astrometry of HIPPARCOS and GAIA. We present these pairs and suggest their use as calibration pairs that can be interspersed into double star observation programs for calibration and consistency.
