Abstract

This study continues a project to provide updated astrometric measurements for selected Dunlop double stars. DUN137, DUN141, DUN142 CD, DUN144, DUN145, DUN154, DUN159 AB, DUN168, DUN180 AB,C and DUN186 were imaged using the Las Cumbres Observatory Global Telescope Network. Calibrated images were obtained and these were analysed using the software AstroImageJ to determine separation, position angle and delta magnitude. The physical distance separation was calculated using GAIA DR3 parallax data and the measure of apparent separation reported in this paper. The rPM (ratio of proper motions) metric, space velocity vectors in 3D space and Buchheim distance probability were calculated. Binding energy (Ebinding), system escape velocity and relative 3D space velocity were calculated for DUN141, DUN144, DUN154 and DUN186.
